He is in the process of earning his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) with the American College.Jason grew up in Kingston, WA. After graduating from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma WA, with a double major in finance and economics, he worked for Tacoma Power where he was responsible for forecasting $400M+ in revenue and corporate financial planning for Tacoma Power, Tacoma Water, and Click! Network. He also managed the team responsible for planning retail revenue growth across a $750M+ budget. After a series of promotions, he was put in charge of a team of 11 to manage strategy execution across Tacoma Power’s 6 business units and 800 employees. It was in this position that Jason discovered a passion for helping people and organizations plan.As Strategy Manager, Jason discovered that his ability to build authentic relationships on trust enabled him to excel in corporate financial planning. His deep network of professionals and subject matter experts gave him the ability to get deep insights around opportunities that he could communicate to the executive team. The job matched his financial skills with his passion for relationship building, communication, and allowing him to help people plan for their goals, execute the plan, and continually review progress.As Jason began to consider the next steps in his career, he had an opportunity to serve non-profits for a few years. He worked with 11 non-profits across 11 countries and three continents. After this experience, Jason knew that he wanted his work and career to be more than helping to guide companies. He wanted a deeper, longer relationship with the individuals he served. It was during this search that he began working with Clear Creek Financial Management (CCFM), the RIA for Transition Planning.The CCFM team quickly realized that Jason's technical financial experience would open the door to create meaningful relationships and to help families navigate their unique financial situations. With the support of the CCFM team, Jason acquired the licensing to become a financial advisor. Since joining Clear Creek, Jason has been responsible for evaluating and executing trades across almost $200M in client assets. As the firm's Operations Manager, he supports over 40 financial advisors and over 1,000 client households. He has spent the last 4 years immersing himself in the financial planning industry. He sits in on 3-5 educational webinars a month. He has also developed an extensive network of experts in tax, estate planning, private banking, real estate, and law.In 2020, Jason helped Glen and the Transition Planning family join CCFM. As they worked together, Glen and Jason found that their values matched and so did their passion for serving families with unmatched service and financial expertise. In 2022, Glen approached Jason to join him as a Jr. Advisor at Transition Planning.Jason lives in Santa Rosa CA with Brittany, his wife, and their 18 month old twin daughters Eliana and Ariah.
